Ischgl – winter paradise
Ischgl-Samnaun must count to one of the best winter ski areas of the Alps. The state-of-the-art lifts, outstanding slopes for all skill levels and abundant off-piste skiing lets the heart of a winter tourist beat a bit faster.
ACTIVITIES
– Cross-country skiing: The cross-country ski runs rise from 1,377 metres to a height of 2,036 meters. There is, of course, room for skating alongside the track; this is the faster and more intensive form of cross-country skiing.
– Ice skating: Ice skating belongs to winter just as snow does – in Ischgl as well, of course. An open air ice rink makes it even more fun – do a turn on the ice in brilliant sunshine or, romantically, in the evening.
– Tobogganing: Push off at a height of 2,320 metres; the fast toboggan run is seven kilometres long, right down to the town. There is no better way of enjoying the height difference of 950 meters.
– Snowpark Ischgl: Besides numerous boxes and 5 kickers with a length of 8-14m, a 10m spine and a BagJump are arranged among others. Additionally there is a varied funcrossline with rollers, kickers and a wave course for rookies and an exclusive „15 elements in line"course for all masters of freestyle ...
– Horse-drawn sleigh rides: Take a round trip with the horse-drawn sleigh: This is a welcome change during your Ischgl holiday and is romantic, comfortable and suitable for the whole family.
– Indoor sports: Ischgl’s tennis and leisure centre offers you super possibilities to play sport, if the weather is bad or just for a change.
